DownHardBluesBand is a power trio lead by the vocalist and guitar player Nico Nicolosi.
Nico Nicolosi has been working professionally as a guitarist/singer since 1998. Since then he recorded and performed with different projects and many artists in Brazil and Montreal within the genres of Blues, Rock, Funk, R&B and Jazz.
The original group was first formed in 2001, performing consistently until through the years before Nico’s moving to Montreal in 2018. At that time DHBB was restructured with the addition of the fantastic versatile musicians, Corey Thomas(Bass) and the Jon Di Lalla (Drums).
For the past year the band has been playing a special setlist, paying tribute to the guitar god Jimi Hendrix. Now they are moving towards adding others covers songs to the show from very influential groups like Santana, James Gang, Bad Company, Steve Miller Band, Steely Dan, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jeff Healey,…
