Rachel Dara x Alma Matter - double bill at Montreal's Legendary Wheel Club

Rachel Dara and Alma Matter will be performing together at NDG's legendary Wheel Club, on Sunday July 26th at 8pm.

Rachel Dara is a Montreal-based singer-songwriter who recorded her debut album “The Next Big Invention" with legendary Canadian record producer Mark Howard, who compared her to Joni Mitchell, a famed folk artist he worked with. The alternative folk artist will be releasing her second record, "Old at Soul and Young at Heart" in the coming year. Her melodies are intense and personal, as she spins stories of love, abandonment, and coming of age that people of all ages can relate to. At the tender age of 19, she already has performed at festivals and venues across Quebec such as the West Island Blues Festival and Montreal Fringe Fest with her band, as well as a solo artist in Ontario, Upstate New York, and Pennsylvania.
